Mahler-Lieder in La Chaux-de-Fonds (NE)
What a pleasure to sing some of Mahler's great songs with a great orchestra in a great and famous concert hall: La Chaux-de-Fonds' Salle de Musique. Famous concert hall from 1952 with great accoustics... For me as a lover of fine mechanics and watch works being in the Jura region of Switzerland is always a pleasure and getting to know another UNESCO world heritage site is a sheer joy and privilegde. What could be better than singing beautiful music and spending time in a super interesting place?
Since my early youth I have been fascinated by the great architect Le Corbusier - finally I was able to pay a tribute to this genius in La Chaux-de-Fonds... Hope my photos do some justice...
