Beethoven's Fidelio at the Proms
In July I have had the priveledge to participate in the BBC Proms for a third time. Being at the Royal Albert Hall is always a pleasure and at the Proms the audience is wonderful and warm hearted. Rehearslas took place at Manchester-Salford's UK Media City, then orchestra and chorus as well as soloists relocated to London. I stayed in a great place in Princess' Gardens and could easily walk to the concert hall. A very nice neighborhood with some of the famed London Mews in Kensington... After a wonderful concert with a great reaction from the audience to all of us I had the pleasure to visit the countryside in the north of London - rural and just beautiful. It is always a wonderful experience to be in the UK.
